Imagine Us is the premier technology competition for high school students in the United Arab Emirates. The competition encourages young high school students to apply their imagination, passion, and creativity to technology innovations that can make a difference in the world. Students can choose to participate in one of three categories: Web Design, Digital Video, or Graphic Design. The theme of this year’s competition is “Using Technology to Solve the World’s Toughest Problems.”
Imagine Us challenges students to imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems facing us today. Some might use technology to help a brother or sister get an education. Some may envision entirely new approaches for medicine. These students might ensure the sustainability of our planet or help deliver universal primary education. The possibilities are endless!
The United Nations has identified some of the hardest challenges in the world today in its Millennium Goals. Imagine Us uses these ambitious challenges as a guiding light to inspire change all over the world.
Teams will design and develop an HTML web site using Microsoft Expression® Web that showcases how technology can solve the world’s toughest problems.
